Young boys of play in the rainy,muddy water to mark the occasion.
Most enchanting is Dindi utsav of Lord Vithal and Goddess Rukmini at Margao,special feature is the coloring stunning fireworks.
Gulal utsav of Damodar Mandir,Zambaulim,near Margao. People celebrate this utsav or celebration by throwing Gulal i.e. colored powder on each other.
KrishnaJanmashtami is Lord Krishna’s birthday. It is celebrated with great enthusiasm,especially in RadhaKrishna temple at sanquelim and a special cradle is made which is beautifully decorated with different color flowers. Idol of little Krishna is kept in this cradle. Women move the cradle and sing lullaby for the deity.

This festival is celebrated for one and half days,five days,eleven days or twentyone days and idol,is later immersed in the sea.
